In modern motors oil is recommended to be changed periodically.

In modern engines most of Cars producers recommend to change oil once a year or every 30 tKm of run, but in difficult service conditions (city driving, a frigid climate, the raised loadings) it is recommended to change oil every 10-15 tKm mileage
